Saturday October 17th 10 am to 3 pm

Scouting outings are great adventures for the scouts, parents and families.

Come out and Enjoy the Hike and get to know the Pack.

Join Pack 340 for our first hike of the Scouting year! We're hitting the trails at Chain O' Lakes State Park to clear out and prep the Pack bluebird houses for winter.

Any Scout who hasn't yet earned their official Pack 340 hiking stick will earn it by completing this hike (sticks will be awarded at the upcoming Pack meeting). Scouts who already have their stick will earn their next round of trail beads. The Pack will supply all necessary box-cleaning tools.

- Wear: Class B shirts, weather-appropriate layers, and sturdy trail shoes or boots.
- Bring: Full water bottle, trail snack, sun protection, and optional gloves (work, garden, or disposable) at your discretion for handling nest debris.
- Rally Point: Parking lot by the Visitor Center. (See attached map for directions) Please arrive 10 minutes before step-off.

Note: All Cub Scouts must be accompanied by an adult trail partner.

Our annual Raingutter Regatta is happening on Saturday, August 15th!
