March in the Richmond Round-Up Parade & Get Free Ice Cream! (June 28)

Dear Pack 340 Families,

We are excited to invite all of our Pack 340 Scouts to march in the Richmond Round-Up Days Parade on Sunday, June 28!

This is a fantastic community tradition. Our entry this year will feature the Cub trailer and flags, and our Scouts will walk the route alongside our adult leaders.

Here are the key details for your calendar:

Event Schedule

Date: Sunday, June 28, 2026
Staging Window: 11:30 AM – 11:45 AM (Please arrive during this time)
Staging Location: TBD (The village will assign our spot closer to the date)
Parade Kickoff: 12:00 PM

Free Ice Cream at Anderson’s!

Every Pack 340 Scout who participates in the parade or attends the Round-Up Days festival gets a free ice cream cone courtesy of Anderson's Candy Shop!

The Rule: Scouts must wear their official uniform or Cub Scout swag to redeem their treat.
Redemption Days: You can claim your free cone on either Saturday, June 27, or Sunday, June 28.

Quick Checklist

Wear your uniform or Cub Scout gear.
Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Bring a water bottle and wear sunscreen.
Parents must walk the route with their Scouts or line the streets to cheer us on.
